Maryland expands Clover Hill Dairy cheese recall over Listeria risk
Maryland’s health department expanded its advisory to include all Clover Hill Dairy cheeses after a possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination, prompting a voluntary recall and suspension of the facility’s license. The cheeses—sold directly, at markets, and through distributors in several states and the District of Columbia and potentially relabeled under other brands—are tied to a Listeria outbreak with nine identified cases and one Maryland death.
