Burbank man arrested for pepper-spraying moviegoer over phone use
Matthew Ware, 34, was arrested in Burbank, California, after allegedly pepper-spraying a moviegoer for using a cellphone during a screening of 'The Uprising' at the AMC Burbank 16 theater on September 15. Ware was charged with misdemeanor battery and booked into the Burbank Jail. Two other patrons were treated at a local hospital for irritation caused by the spray. Witness Joe Rodriguez stated that Ware fled the theater immediately after the incident but was later located by other moviegoers.
