
"Hidden Galaxy Clusters Unveiled by Hubble Space Telescope"
The Hubble Space Telescope has captured an image of two independent galaxy clusters, originally believed to be one, in the constellation Eridanus. The foreground cluster is located 2.3 billion light-years away, while the further group is approximately 5.4 billion light-years away. The image shows smaller galaxies distorted into long, warped arcs around the cluster's edges due to gravitational lensing. The discovery was made using Hubble's Advanced Camera for Surveys, revealing the presence of two distinct galaxy clusters with masses equivalent to around 30 trillion and 120 trillion times the mass of the sun.
