Danny Shane Davis, 56, of Marion, North Carolina, died August 7, 2026. Born August 25, 1969 in McDowell County, he was the son of Charles and Mary Smith Davis and was preceded in death by his sister Rebecca. He is survived by his sons Luke and Mason Davis, his brother Mark Davis, and his niece Jessica George and nephew Zachary Mills. A family and friends memorial service will be held at a later date with Rev. Larry Gentry officiating. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and writing poetry.
