Mojang Segregates Minecraft Minecoins by Platform Starting October 27
Mojang will restrict Minecoins purchased on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 to those specific devices starting October 27, 2026. Existing balances will move to a legacy wallet for cross-platform use, while new purchases will be locked to the purchase platform. Retail cards may also become platform-specific.
