Dead by Daylight celebrated its 10th anniversary with a Montreal fan event and a post-show recap revealing a Dead by Daylight movie update with a director at the helm, a new Indigenous Survivor Shane Wiigwaas, chapters including Chorus of Sin and Dead by Daylight: The Life Road, a new map The Mall, the Black Banquet anniversary event, and a slate of upcoming cosmetics and cross-franchise collections (Iron Maiden, Ice Nine Kills, Walking Dead, Silent Hill, Diablo, Scooby-Doo). The game also unveiled a major 2027 visual overhaul, official modding tools, a new 1v1 mode, a prototype Zombie Mode, and the teaser that Terrified is coming to the game, signaling a long-term roadmap beyond a sequel.
