Updated points for Codex: Orks are live on the Munitorum Field Manual ahead of the release, including Ghazghkull at 300 and several unit price changes; the Munitorum Field Manual and Warhammer 40,000 app display the new values, Legends units appear in Battle Forge, new Ork detachments with Force Dispositions are live, and Warhammer+ unlocks expanded features and datasheets.
The Warhammer 40,000 app has been updated for the new edition, letting you view opponent army lists and rules on your device, generate missions and track victory points, and use the War Journal for army planning, terrain, and deployment layouts. It also updates the Battle Forge detachments and Force Dispositions with new points, and switches the Munitorum Field Manual to an online version that updates with each patch. The app now integrates with Best Coast Pairings, and you can download or update via the App Store or Google Play to game with the latest rules and content.
Warhammer Community confirms the new Warhammer 40,000 edition is almost here: a refreshed 40k App with full unit points, Detachment Points, and Force Dispositions, plus a Munitorum Field Manual; points go live on June 17 (about 48 hours after the article). The app will integrate with the new rules, include a War Journal, and let you view opponent rules and datasheets during play. If you’re finishing current edition games this weekend, disable auto-updates, as older edition rules won’t be supported after update. The changes focus on core-rule-driven point shifts (many mid-range and large models go up, some infantry go up or down, flying models navigate easier but may cost more, and certain abilities/tricks affect costs). Balance updates are planned quarterly, with monthly adjustments possible in the first three months after launch (first by end of July).
