France hammered by Murray State in 110-72 warm-up
France’s reserve basketball team were routed 110-72 by NCAA program Murray State in a prep game, trailing 27-5 after the opening quarter and 62-25 at halftime. Sylvain Francisco led France with 23 points but the squad committed 28 turnovers and had little time together before facing a Murray State side that had practiced since June. Romon Domon led Murray State with 24 points. France’s main squad will return for World Cup European Qualifiers later in August, with matches against Slovenia and Sweden on the schedule.
