Sony Sets Nov. 6 Global Premiere for 'Ramayana' Ahead of Diwali India Launch
Sony Pictures has scheduled the global theatrical release of the Indian epic 'Ramayana: Part 1' for November 6, 2026. The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Prime Focus Studios, will open in India two days later on November 8 to coincide with Diwali. The project features a massive cast and Oscar-winning composers, with a combined budget for the two-part series reaching up to $500 million.
