Samsung Galaxy phones with One UI 9 now include a built-in network speed indicator via the Good Lock QuickStar module, letting users see real-time upload and download speeds in the status bar whether on Wi‑Fi or mobile data. The feature, long requested by Android users, previously required third‑party apps or root access and is tucked behind Good Lock rather than a simple toggle. It’s currently in beta for the Galaxy S26 in select markets (US, UK, Germany, India, Poland, Korea) with a broader rollout to older flagships expected in the coming months.
