Midweek Snowstorm to Blanket Minnesota with Several Inches
A NEXT Weather Alert has been issued for Wednesday evening in southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin, with several inches of snow and slippery roads expected. The winter weather advisory is in effect from 3 p.m. Wednesday to 3 a.m. Thursday, with snow chances increasing significantly in the latter half of the afternoon. The metro can expect 2 to 4 inches of snow, with the potential for 4 inches in some areas south, and temperatures remaining in the 30s on Thursday. Slick spots are expected to persist, and Friday will be even colder with highs in the lower 20s, while the weekend will gradually warm up.
