Steelers face steep price tag if they chase Brendan Sorsby in supplemental draft
The Steelers’ QB room already has four signal-callers, so adding Brendan Sorsby in a potential 2026 supplemental draft would be a bold, expensive bet. After the NCAA denied Sorsby’s eligibility reinstatement for gambling on his Indiana team, he could enter the 2026 supplemental draft and, if selected, would likely fetch a late-1st/early-2nd-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. Some area scouts rate him above Arch Manning, meaning Pittsburgh would be wagering on him as the future quarterback and potentially moving on from Will Howard and Mason Rudolph. In 2025, Sorsby threw 27 TDs to 5 INTs with a 155.5 passer rating, leading the Big 12.
