Linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski, who last played for the Atlanta Falcons, has signed a one-year deal with his hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 30-year-old has had a mixed career, with his best years coming during his time with the Chicago Bears, where he earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2017. Kwiatkoski will likely contribute on special teams and as a reserve linebacker for the Steelers.

Kwiatkoski has played in 89 NFL games with 34 starts, while Sunahara spent the end of the 2021 NFL season on the Steelers practice squad. Miller joined the Steelers mid-season in 2021 and spent the entire 2022 season on the Reserve/Injured List due to a shoulder injury.
