Winter Storm Alert: Snow and Strong Winds Expected in Midwest
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Northeastern Iowa until Monday morning, with widespread snow showers developing by noon on Sunday. Most of Eastern Iowa will receive a trace to 2 inches of snow while 2 to 6 inches are possible in the Northeast Zone through Monday morning. Temperatures will stay in the 30s throughout the day, with winds gusting over 40 possible. However, temperatures will rise on Monday with highs in the 40s and 50s, and Tuesday looks mild as well with a partly cloudy sky and temperatures in the 60s.
