Spurs upgrade frontcourt depth with Tarris Reed at 26 after Nuggets swap
San Antonio traded the 35th pick and two future second-round selections to Denver to move up to No. 26 and select 6’10 center Tarris Reed from UConn. The 22-year-old, known for a traditional back-to-the-basket game, averaged 9.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks while shooting 64.4% from the floor last season, providing immediate size behind Victor Wembanyama and Luke Kornet as a long-term project with potential day-one contribution.
