Deadly Russian strikes blanket Ukraine as drones target ships in Odesa Oblast
Russia launched a wide overnight drone and artillery campaign across eight Ukrainian regions, killing at least 11 people and injuring 63, with Shahed drones hitting eight locations including Odesa Oblast. Ukraine’s Air Force reported 90 drones were launched, 79 were shot down and nine hit targets, including a truck park in Odesa; two foreign civilian vessels sailing from Ukrainian ports were attacked, leaving one crew member dead and several injured. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba condemned the assaults as a blow to freedom of navigation and global food security.
