Las Vegas Raiders Bolster Tight End Position with Austin Hooper Signing
The Las Vegas Raiders have signed former Pro Bowl tight end Austin Hooper to a one-year deal worth up to $3.5 million. Hooper will join fellow free-agent addition O.J. Howard after the Raiders traded standout tight end Darren Waller to the New York Giants. Hooper is expected to be the primary receiving tight end for the Raiders in 2023, while Howard has 35 catches in the past three seasons combined. The Raiders may still look to draft a tight end in the mid rounds.
