Shokz Debuts Lighter Open-Ear Earbuds With Dolby Audio and Dual-Model Options
Shokz unveiled two new open-ear earbuds, OpenDots Air and OpenDots 2. The Air is a lighter, entry-level model at $129.95 with Bassphere, 11.8mm dual drivers, customizable EQs, AI noise reduction for calls, up to 9 hours of playback (36 hours with the case), and 6.3 g per earbud. It comes in black or daybreak purple and has no ANC. The OpenDots 2, at $199.95, adds Dolby Audio and a bone-conduction microphone, offers 10 hours of use (40 with the case), Qi wireless charging, and Google Find Hub support, with 6.4 g per earbud. Both retain the behind-the-ear, open-ear design, support Bluetooth 6.1, dual-device pairing, and location tracking via the Shokz app, and come in gray/pearl white/black or black/daybreak options respectively.
