Berger concedes NC Senate race after partial recount, Page clinches SD-26 primary
North Carolina Senate Leader Phil Berger conceded to Sheriff Sam Page after a partial recount left Page 23 votes ahead in the SD-26 GOP primary, ending any chance of a full hand recount. Page will face Democrat Steve Luking in November. Berger, a longtime power broker with Trump’s backing, saw his leadership and influence tested by the close race and ongoing protests that ultimately did not alter the result.
