Warner Named Artistic Leader of Park Avenue Armory, Pledging Cross-Disciplinary Vision
Deborah Warner, a acclaimed British theatre and opera director, has been named the Park Avenue Armory’s next artistic director after the death of Pierre Audi. Warner plans to bring a cross-disciplinary program to the Armory’s vast, “found space,” continuing Audi’s expansive, global vision while emphasizing collaboration across theater, opera, and other forms.
