Woods and Mickelson Among Absentees at Masters Champions Dinner
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson were the only past Masters champions not at this year’s Champions Dinner. Woods had planned to attend but was arrested for a DUI and is reportedly in Switzerland for treatment related to painkiller addiction; Mickelson cited a family health matter. Rory McIlroy hosted the event, which drew 33 of 35 past winners, with attendees including Gary Player and Vijay Singh; Fuzzy Zoeller had died earlier in the year.
