Pidcock nearly quits Tre Valli after police motorbike strikes two teammates
Tom Pidcock nearly withdrew from the Tre Valli Varesine after a police motorbike traveling against the peloton struck two of his teammates, Marcel Camprubí and Thomas Gloag. Gloag required stitches and abandoned the race, while Camprubí continued but finished last. The incident reignited debates over race security following the fatal crash of Finlay Tarling in August.
