Salma Hayek Welcomes Grandson François, Nicknamed Panchito
Salma Hayek has become a grandmother after her stepson, François Pinault Jr., and his wife, Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, welcomed their first child, a boy, earlier this month. Hayek shared a video on Instagram of herself holding the newborn, whom she affectionately calls 'Panchito,' a Mexican nickname for Francisco. The baby’s full name is François, continuing a family naming tradition that now spans four living generations. Hayek’s husband, François-Henri Pinault, is the father of the new baby’s father, as well as three other children from previous relationships. The actress has previously spoken about her inability to have more biological children, describing her stepchildren as a blessing.
