The profits from operations go to the Prince of Wales Foundation in Romania, which supports educational programming and skills training. The guesthouse is a nod to the king's heritage, as he is related to Countess Claudine Rhédey von Kis-Rhéde, who was born in Transylvania and is a great-great grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II.
