WHO declares Ebola outbreak in Congo and Uganda a global health emergency
The World Health Organization has declared the Ebola outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, triggering a coordinated international response to contain transmission, mobilize funding and vaccines, and enhance cross-border surveillance.
