A Florida judge ruled Tiger Woods’ prescription records related to his March crash must be turned over to law enforcement, but will be shielded from the public and shared only with individuals connected to the case.
The Iowa Supreme Court ruled that Governor Kim Reynolds' office can be sued for untimely production of documents, just like any other public entity, in a lawsuit filed by three media and government transparency organizations accusing Reynolds' office of "stonewalling" public records requests. The court found that Reynolds' failure to respond to numerous records requests violated both the letter and the intent of the Legislature's open records law. The decision sends the case back to district court to continue. Reynolds' office issued a statement responding to the ruling, saying the delays in fulfilling records requests were a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
