Winter Storm Blankets New England, Causing School Closures and Power Outages
A winter storm brought heavy snowfall to parts of northern New England, with some areas receiving up to a foot of snow, leading to school closures and power outages affecting over 40,000 customers. However, in the Greater Boston region, the storm mostly brought rain. Ski areas in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont were hit hard by the snowfall.
