Velocirax Max 6 leads in capacity and stability (100 lb per bike; 300 lb total) and best suits heavy bikes and e-bikes, though it’s the heaviest and most expensive. Thule ReVert 6 excels for solo use with its bi-directional TiltAssist and easy tool-free mounting, but offers lower per-slot capacity (55 lb/bike; 250 lb total) and sits at a higher price. Yakima HangTight 6 is the most versatile for a mixed fleet (kids’ to enduro bikes) but has the lowest total capacity and the most sway, plus requires a separate anti-wobble setup. Overall, Velocirax Max 6 provides the best value and performance for heavy bikes, Thule ReVert 6 favors solo shuttle days, and HangTight 6 suits lighter, varied-bike crews but isn’t ideal for serious shuttle duty.
