Dodgers Place Roki Sasaki on 15-Day IL With Blister
The Dodgers placed Roki Sasaki on the 15-day injured list after he exited a start with a blister on the middle finger of his throwing hand, allowing four runs in 3 1/3 innings. Sasaki had been 2.31 ERA with a 24% strikeout rate since the All-Star Break. Eric Lauer will rejoin the rotation, with Yoshinobu Yamamoto slated to start the series finale against Atlanta, and Sasaki is expected out through at least Sept. 11, potentially impacting postseason plans.
