Perm refinery halts after Ukrainian drone strike; repairs expected in 1–2 weeks
Russia’s Perm oil refinery, its seventh-largest, suspended operations after a Ukrainian drone attack on August 21. The CDU-4 unit (about 40% of capacity) was shut, while CDU-5 has been offline since a July 29 attack; repairs could take one to two weeks as Kyiv targets Russia’s energy infrastructure amid ongoing strikes on other facilities.
