Efira and Okamoto Lead All of a Sudden Awards Campaign
Neon will push Virginie Efira for Best Actress and Tao Okamoto for Best Supporting Actress for Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s All of a Sudden, which Cannes recognized earlier this year. The distributor will also campaign for All of a Sudden in Best Picture, Director, and Adapted Screenplay in the U.S. release set for November 25, with consideration still given to Best International Feature submissions. Okamoto’s recent childbirth may affect travel more than Efira’s promotional schedule, which already includes upcoming North American festival appearances.
