
AMD Ships Ryzen 5 7500 and 5500F, Pairing Zen 4 and Zen 3 for Budget Builds
AMD quietly introduced two Ryzen 5 CPUs: the Ryzen 5 7500 on AM5, a 6-core/12-thread Zen 4 part with a RDNA 2 iGPU (2 CUs) and 3.7 GHz base up to 5.0 GHz, 65 W TDP, plus 38 MB total cache; and the Ryzen 5 5500F on AM4, a 6-core/12-thread Zen 3 Vermeer-based part with 3.0–4.4 GHz and 65 W, but only 16 MB L3 cache. No official pricing or availability yet, though UK listings hinted around £167.99 for the 7500 and £87.98 for the 5500F.
