Fultondale police are searching for 21-year-old Jaylon Lewis, who has been charged with second-degree assault and unlawful possession of marijuana, after his 4-year-old sister was shot in their home. The girl's injuries are not life-threatening, and the mother initially claimed that the child accidentally shot herself. Lewis had left the scene before the police arrived, and marijuana was found in the room he shared with his sister.
