Matt Damon Circles Daniels’ Secret Universal Project
Matt Damon is in talks to star in an untitled event film from Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (the Daniels) for Universal Pictures. The project, described as a high-profile secret pic, would reunite Damon with Universal after Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey; Ryan Gosling had previously been circling the role but scheduling couldn't align. If negotiations finalize, Damon would shoot in Los Angeles later this summer after Odyssey promotion, with Playgrounds producing under their Universal deal.
