Five Xbox titles will lose online services in August 2026: NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds on August 20 (no online achievements affected), Warface: Clutch on August 25 (all achievements discontinued), and NHL 22 and NHL 23 on August 31 (each loses 19 online-only achievements). Three titles will have online achievements discontinued, and EA’s Grid Legends is also shutting down later this year.
In January 2025, Xbox will shut down online servers for three games: WWE 2K23, EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, and Blue Protocol. WWE 2K23, which has been delisted from the Xbox store, will lose online functionality on January 6, affecting 13 achievements. EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour's servers will close on January 16, discontinuing two online-only achievements. Blue Protocol, a free-to-play MMORPG available only through the Japanese Xbox store, will shut down on January 18, discontinuing all achievements. Players are advised to complete any online achievements before these dates.
