Ohio State approves $100 million settlement for Strauss abuse survivors
Ohio State University has agreed to pay $100 million to 279 former students who allege campus doctor Richard Strauss sexually abused them, ending an eight-year federal case; a special master will determine individual damages, and OSU had previously settled with 317 other survivors for more than $61 million. The litigation also involved former coaches and U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, who denies knowledge of the abuse.
