The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opened to the public on September 22 in Los Angeles, following a star-studded gala on September 21. The 300,000-square-foot institution, co-founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, features a collection of 40,000 narrative art pieces and a new rooftop restaurant, Skywalker Grill.

Skywalker Grill opens Sept. 22 atop the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Exposition Park, Los Angeles, offering comfort-driven American dishes made with ingredients from George Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch and a view of downtown. The restaurant stays open after museum hours, includes a casual lobby cafe and bar seating, and reservations are already in high demand as the museum launches.

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles announced Skywalker Grill, its flagship rooftop restaurant inspired by George Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch. The full‑service eatery will offer California-sourced classics with sweeping city views, open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, with reservations available to the public. Designed by Rockwell Group and operated by Rhubarb Events & Hospitality Collection, the midcentury-modern space will feature a menu including Dungeness crab cake, lobster corn dog, crispy chicken Milanese, honey-miso glazed salmon and a Skywalker Ranch Wagyu burger, plus house-made pastas and seasonal salads. The museum opens Sept. 22 and will host exhibitions such as Star Wars in Motion.
