St. Paul Academy graduate Anil Menon fulfills his childhood dream by becoming one of NASA's newest astronauts at the age of 47, after completing two years of training at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. With a background in neurobiology and experience as an emergency medicine physician and flight surgeon for NASA and medical director for SpaceX, Menon is now eligible for flight assignments, potentially including trips to the moon and missions to the International Space Station, after being selected from a pool of over 12,000 applicants.
