
Tropical Disturbance off Africa Could Develop into Depression or Storm Next Week
The National Hurricane Center has reported that a tropical disturbance off the coast of Africa could develop into a tropical depression next week. The system is currently moving west at 15 to 20 miles per hour across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic. The chance of formation in the next 48 hours is 10 percent, but chances in the next seven days jump to 50 percent. The next named storm for the 2023 hurricane season will be Bret.
