
Dolly Forms in Atlantic as Short-Lived Storm Ahead of Leeward Islands
Tropical Storm Dolly has formed in the Atlantic, about 1,555 miles east of the Leeward Islands, with maximum sustained winds around 40 mph and a central pressure of 1007 mb. The NHC says Dolly is likely short‑lived and expected to degenerate into a tropical wave before reaching the Leeward Islands, though heavy rain could affect the islands late Saturday into Sunday. There are currently no watches or warnings.
