Southwest Unveils Largest Summer 2027 Schedule, Adding 11 Routes Across Austin, Nashville, and San Diego
Southwest Airlines has announced its largest summer schedule ever, introducing 11 new or returning routes across 15 cities starting June 3, 2027. The expansion heavily favors Austin and Nashville, with Austin receiving seven new or returning routes and Nashville adding three new destinations. Notable additions include seasonal service from Sarasota to Austin, new Caribbean routes from Austin and Nashville, and expanded domestic service from San Diego. The move coincides with the construction of Southwest's first airport lounges in Austin and Nashville, set to open in late 2027.
