Turkey seeks Interpol Red Notices for Netanyahu over Gaza flotilla case
Turkey’s Justice Ministry asked Interpol to issue Red Notices for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and an Israeli official on genocide charges connected to the Sumud Flotilla raid on Gaza-bound activists; arrest warrants dated July 14, 2026, accuse them of crimes including genocide and crimes against humanity linked to the international-water seizure and detention of aid workers. Afek Moskovitch is also named in connection with the destruction of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza; the documents were forwarded to Turkey’s Foreign Affairs Ministry.
