Record number of Android users switching to iPhone in 2021

A survey conducted by CIRP shows that 15% of iPhone users had an Android phone before buying their iPhone, the highest number in five years. In addition, 2% switched to the iPhone from a basic phone, came from the "other" category, or were first-time phone buyers. However, only 83% of iPhone owners in the survey already owned an iPhone when buying their new iOS-powered smartphone. The low percentage of first-time phone buyers who chose the iPhone as their initial purchase could be due to the price or concerns about complexity.
