Google's Chrome browser now features a Memory Saver function that automatically frees up memory from inactive tabs, indicated by circles around the tab icons. Users can click on the tabs to make them active again, although there may be a slight delay in loading. The feature can be disabled or specific sites can be listed as always active. Microsoft Edge has had a similar feature for some time.
