Dolby Laboratories has announced FlexConnect, a feature that aims to simplify and enhance home theater audio setups. FlexConnect allows supporting TVs, starting with TCL TVs, to optimize Dolby Atmos audio output among the TV's speakers and paired wireless speakers. FlexConnect could potentially streamline home theater audio setups for mainstream users if adopted by multiple TV brands.
