CD Projekt Red Addresses Switch 2 Visual Complaints with Witcher 3 Remastered Patch 5.01
CD Projekt Red released Patch 5.01 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 19, 2026. The update primarily targets visual clarity and resolution issues in handheld mode, which had been criticized since the game's September 29 launch. The patch also fixes a rare crash during region transitions, optimizes cross-platform mod cache handling, and resolves bugs affecting HD Rumble and map pin placement. While the update improves image fidelity, it is part of a broader series of platform-specific patches following a generally successful but technically imperfect launch.
