William Chapman identified as victim of fatal tiger attack at Yorkshire Wildlife Park
William Chapman, a man in his 20s, has been identified as the victim of a fatal tiger attack at Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster. Chapman entered the Amur tiger enclosure on Saturday afternoon and was pronounced dead at the scene. The park remains closed as investigations continue, with the tiger, Altai, confirmed to remain in its habitat. Eyewitnesses described Chapman pacing near the enclosure before climbing over barriers, while experts debate whether the incident reflects systemic zoo safety failures or isolated human behavior.
