Merck's TIGIT/PD-1 combo disappoints in lung cancer trial
Merck has released the full results of its Phase II lung cancer study, revealing that its TIGIT/PD-1 combination therapy failed to meet both primary and secondary endpoints. Despite this setback, Merck will continue with its Phase III studies for the candidate, a co-formulation of vibostolimab and Keytruda, with the first readout expected in 2025. The data from the Phase II trial will inform the program moving forward.
