Timothy Busfield Denies Twin-Actor Allegations in New Mexico Grand Jury
Emmy-winning actor-director Timothy Busfield testified for over two hours before a Bernalillo County grand jury in Albuquerque, insisting he did not commit criminal sexual contact with the twin child actors on The Cleaning Lady and that the allegations are false and financially motivated revenge. He acknowledged some physical contact on set but said it was never inappropriate and occurred with many witnesses present. The twins’ mother allegedly sought revenge after their roles were cut. Busfield, who maintains his innocence and has undergone a lie detector test, faces four counts and a trial date in May 2027.
