Jeep Restores Trailhawk and Overland 4x4 Variants for 2027 Grand Cherokee
Jeep will bring back the Grand Cherokee Overland and Trailhawk 4x4 variants for the 2027 model year. The base Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L will continue with the Pentastar V6 on lower trims, while higher trims switch to the 2.0L Hurricane-4. Overland adds a two-speed transfer case, air suspension with a high-clearance mode, hill descent control and semi-active dampers; Trailhawk adds a rear electronic limited-slip diff, chunkier tires, a TrailCam with rear washer, and six skid plates. Production returns this fall, with pricing to be announced.
